Systems Engineer
This is a full time position.

Bigelow Aerospace is looking for Systems Engineers to support the design/development/build phases of current projects.
Description:
Bigelow Aerospace is seeking highly motivated systems engineers with experience supporting the requirements development, detailed design and test, and production program cycles. Successful candidates will be highly inventive and innovative in their approach to handling the task of integrating the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team of spacecraft subsystems engineers into an overall space module system.
Applicants will be required to perform requirements development, documentation management, quality assurance, testing oversight, risk analysis, FMECA, product integration and fault detection/fault response development, as well as integrating the design requirements efforts of subsystems engineers to ensure no contradictions of requirements on the system level. Experience with systems engineering on programs with a wide range of engineering support functions is preferred.
Qualifications:
US Citizens and Permanent Residents Only
Systems Engineer - Minimum of 5 years experience as a systems engineer with an accredited BS degree or higher in an applicable engineering field. Special consideration will be given to applicants with additional skills or experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop requirements documents, FMECA matrices, and fault detection and fault response decision trees.
- Work closely with the subsystems engineers to ensure the space module component design meets system level requirements.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control over design requirements development and testing.
- Perform risk analysis assessments of the space module on a system level through FMECA development and tracking.
